About Woolooman
Woolooman is a rural locality in the Ipswich region of Queensland, located about 35.5 kilometres south of Ipswich and 74.6 kilometres southwest of Brisbane in the Scenic Rim Region. The area is surrounded by Washpool, Milbong, Undullah, and Wyaralong. Woolooman Provisional School opened on 9 March 1908, became a state school in 1909, closed in 1913 due to low attendance, re-opened in a new building on 21 August 1933, and permanently closed in 1937 with the school building relocated to Nudgee Beach State School in 1946.
