About Kensington Grove
Kensington Grove is a rural residential locality in the Lockyer Valley Region of Queensland, located 59.3 kilometres east of Toowoomba and 72.5 kilometres west-southwest of Brisbane. Situated between Brightview, Regency Downs, Hatton Vale and Prenzlau, the locality is predominantly rural residential with some grazing on native vegetation in the east and northwest. A war memorial was unveiled on 8 November 1995 in Memorial Park on Thallon Road, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II and remembering residents of Laidley Shire who served in Australia and overseas. The locality experienced significant population growth of 19.4 percent between 2016 and 2021.
