About Surfers Paradise
Surfers Paradise, colloquially known as Surfers, is a beachfront suburb of the City of Gold Coast in Queensland and the Gold Coast's main tourism and entertainment centre. The suburb's high-rise apartment buildings form the most recognisable feature of the city's skyline, rising behind a wide surf beach, and its shopping and nightlife are centred on Cavill Avenue and Cavill Mall. Surfers Paradise was named one of the Q150 Icons of Queensland in 2009.
