About Lower Beechmont
Lower Beechmont is a rural residential locality in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, at the northern end of the Beechmont Plateau on the McPherson Range in the Gold Coast hinterland. Originally a farming district, it grew as the Gold Coast expanded, and it lies on the forested slopes towards Lamington National Park. The Lower Beechmont Conservation Area is one of the City's largest conservation reserves.
