About Clagiraba
Clagiraba is a rural locality in the Gold Coast hinterland, Queensland, about 25 kilometres west of Surfers Paradise. The name is derived from the Indigenous word Kalagareebah, meaning young or single men's ground, referring to an area where initiation ceremonies were held. The locality features acreage properties, horse paddocks and bushland on the lower slopes of Tamborine Mountain.
