About Benobble

Benobble is a small rural locality in the Gold Coast Hinterland, north of Canungra and south-west of Tamborine Mountain. Its name derives from the Bundjalung language meaning 'place of the tall bloodwood trees'. The locality was once a stop on the Canungra railway line, which operated from 1915 to 1955, and a sawmill operated on Daniels Creek.
