About Freestone
Freestone is a rural town on the Darling Downs in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, about 15 kilometres north of Warwick. The locality has a long agricultural history, with cropping and dairy farms forming the backbone of the community, and the heritage-listed Freestone State School has served the area since the early twentieth century.
