About Storm King
Storm King is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region, about 11 kilometres south-east of Stanthorpe in the Granite Belt highlands. The west is mountainous and undeveloped while the east is flatter and contains Storm King Dam, which impounds Quart Pot Creek and supplies Stanthorpe's urban water and is also a popular recreation spot.
