Mount Tully is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region on the Granite Belt, approximately 12 kilometres south of Stanthorpe. The terrain is mountainous with rocky granite outcrops at an elevation of around 966 metres, giving it a cool-climate character distinct from most of Queensland, and the locality lies within the broader Granite Belt wine and fruit-growing region.
