Stonehenge is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, on the Darling Downs. The landscape is characterised by undulating traprock and sandstone hills used for grazing on native pastures. The name derives from distinctive granite rock formations near the original homestead that reminded early settlers of the English monument.
