About Rocky Creek (Qld)
Rocky Creek is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, located about 17 kilometres south-southeast of Millmerran and 197 kilometres from Brisbane on the western fringe of the Darling Downs. The landscape features rolling farmland with broad black-soil cropping country and open grazing land on the gentle ascent toward the Great Dividing Range, supporting broadacre cropping of wheat and sorghum alongside cattle grazing. Part of the Millmerran district first settled via the Yandilla pastoral run in 1841, the area sits within one of Queensland's most productive agricultural regions.
