About Peranga
Peranga is a small rural town in the Toowoomba Region on the Darling Downs, located approximately 70 kilometres north-west of Toowoomba and 55 kilometres north-east of Dalby. Once a prosperous dairy farming hub, the town declined after the closure of the Oakey-Cooyar railway line in the mid-1960s and is now a quiet farming community surrounded by open paddocks and gentle hills.
