About Evergreen
Evergreen is a rural town and locality in the Toowoomba Region of the Darling Downs, Queensland, about 64 kilometres north-northwest of Toowoomba and 192 kilometres west-northwest of Brisbane. It features pastoral country, and the Oakey-Cooyar Road passes through the locality which has supported farming since the late 1800s when Evergreen Provisional School opened in 1895.
