About Palgrave
Palgrave is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, located about 33 kilometres west-southwest of Warwick and 194 kilometres southwest of Brisbane. The Herries Range forms the southwestern boundary, with Sandy Creek rising on the range slopes and flowing northward to Leslie Dam, creating Lake Leslie, alongside Durakai State Forest in the west. Predominant land use is grazing on native vegetation with some crop growing, and the area sits within historically significant pastoral country near Warwick.
