About Macalister
Macalister is a small rural town on the Darling Downs in the Western Downs Region, about 34 kilometres north-north-west of Dalby. Situated on the Warrego Highway, it is surrounded by grain country and grazing land, and is named after former Queensland Premier Arthur Macalister.
