About Ranges Bridge
Ranges Bridge is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Western Downs Region, located about 17 kilometres north-west of Dalby on the Darling Downs. It takes its name from a bridge over the Condamine River where Mary J. Range operated the Bridge Hotel from at least 1865, and the area is characterised by broadacre farming country.
