About Tummaville
Tummaville is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region of the Darling Downs, Queensland, situated approximately 58 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba near Leyburn. The name derives from the parish, reportedly an Aboriginal corruption of Domville after pastoralist Thomas Domville Taylor who established a station there in the 1840s. The area features Yarramalong Weir on the Condamine River and the historic St Paul's Anglican Church, consecrated around 1903.
