About Hookswood
Hookswood is a vast rural locality in the Western Downs Region of Queensland, situated immediately north-east of Miles. The northern part of the locality extends into the Barakula State Forest, while the remainder is used for grazing on native vegetation across the black soil plains and brigalow scrub country of the western Darling Downs. Miles and Chinchilla provide services.
