About Groomsville
Groomsville is a rural grazing locality on the Darling Downs in the Toowoomba Region, about 35 kilometres north of Toowoomba CBD. It is bounded to the south by the Cooby Creek Reservoir, created by Cooby Dam built between 1938 and 1941 as Toowoomba's first purpose-built water supply.
