About Douglas (Toowoomba - Qld)
Douglas is a suburb of Townsville in North Queensland, about 11 kilometres south-west of the city centre. It is the institutional hub of Townsville, home to the main campus of James Cook University and the Townsville University Hospital. The Ross River forms the northern boundary, with extensive walking and cycling tracks along the river.
