About Swan Creek (Qld)
Swan Creek is a quiet rural locality in the Southern Downs Region, Queensland, situated about 10 kilometres east of Warwick on gently undulating Darling Downs farmland. The area was settled in the 1840s as part of the Canning Downs pastoral run and takes its name from the swans that once gathered at the creek.
