About Tarawera
Tarawera is a remote rural locality in the Goondiwindi Region of southern Queensland, located approximately 102 kilometres north-west of Goondiwindi near the New South Wales border. The area supports dryland cropping and grazing on native vegetation across its expansive plains. The locality is one of the most sparsely settled in the region.
