About Balgowan (Qld)
Balgowan is a rural locality on the flat agricultural land of the Darling Downs in Queensland, in the Toowoomba Region about 440 metres above sea level. The Pechey Maclagan Road passes through it, and the freehold land is used for both cropping and grazing. Plainview State School served the district from 1884 until 1921.
