About Allan
Allan is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region, Queensland, on the Cunningham Highway about 10 kilometres north-west of Warwick. Formerly known as Sandy Creek, it is bounded by the Condamine River to the north-east and Sandy Creek to the west, with mixed cropping and grazing land, and the historic Darling Downs Hotel from the 1920s is a local landmark.
