About Leslie

Leslie is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, near Warwick. It is named for the former Leslie railway station on the South Western railway line, which honoured Patrick Leslie, one of the first pastoralists to take up land on the Darling Downs in the early 1840s. The locality was officially bounded in 2001.
