About Rosenthal Heights
Rosenthal Heights is a mixed-use locality in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, located six kilometres west of Warwick and 163 kilometres south-west of Brisbane. Named from the Rosenthal parish, derived from a pastoral run name used by wool grower Frederick John Bracker in the early 1840s from the German words for roses and valley, the locality has elevations ranging from 440 to 620 metres above sea level. In 1877, 27,800 acres were resumed from the Rosenthal run for smaller farms. The Cunningham Highway and South Western railway line pass through the locality.
