About Pheasant Creek (Qld)
Pheasant Creek is a rural locality in the Shire of Banana in Central Queensland, about 76 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton and 12 kilometres north-west of Wowan. Named after the creek that flows through it, which in turn was named for the scrub turkeys that once inhabited its banks.
