About New Auckland

New Auckland is an urban locality in Gladstone in the Gladstone Region of Queensland, bounded by Auckland Creek and Briffney Creek, from which the suburb takes its name. It lies on the southern outskirts of the Gladstone urban area, about 8 kilometres from the city centre, and is one of Gladstone's key residential growth areas, with high levels of suburban development. The Moura railway line passes through the suburb's north-east corner.
