About Moongan

Moongan is a small rural locality perched on the Razorback Range, about 6 kilometres north of Mount Morgan and 33 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton. It is historically notable as the terminus of the Dawson Valley railway, where an Abt rack engine was used to climb the steep range from Mount Morgan.
