About Joskeleigh
Joskeleigh is a coastal rural locality in the Livingstone Shire, Queensland, situated approximately 35 kilometres south of Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast. The locality has significant cultural importance as a historic Australian South Sea Islander community, settled originally by German farmer Peter Joske and home to generations of South Sea Islanders. The Joskeleigh South Sea Islander Museum preserves this heritage.
