About Glendale (Qld)
Glendale is a rural locality in the Shire of Livingstone in Central Queensland, situated approximately 20 kilometres north of Rockhampton CBD. Bounded by Etna Creek to the north, the Fitzroy River to the south-west and Belmont Creek to the south-east, the area is predominantly used for grazing on native vegetation with scattered rural residential lots. The locality was part of the Shire of Livingstone when it was reinstated following de-amalgamation from Rockhampton Regional Council in 2014.
