About Glen Eden

Glen Eden is a residential suburb of Gladstone in the Gladstone Region, Queensland, located seven kilometres south of Gladstone Central and 510 kilometres north-north-west of Brisbane. The suburb is home to the Tondoon Botanic Gardens, featuring tropical and sub-tropical plants, Lake Tondoon which was Gladstone's water supply from 1916 to 1945, an orchid house, arboretum, and a Japanese garden with tea house. The Gecko Valley Winery, established in 1992 on a 100-hectare site, includes a visitor centre, wine tasting and art gallery. Biondello mountain at 145 metres above sea level is in the north of the suburb.
