About Bundoora (Qld)
Bundoora is a rural locality in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland, about 44 km south-west of Middlemount, on undulating ridges characteristic of the Brigalow Belt. The locality supports coal-mining infrastructure, including Bundoora Dam, built in 1978-1979 to supply the nearby Capcoal mining operations, and Expedition Peak rises on its western boundary.
