About Bororen
Bororen is a small rural town on the Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line in the Gladstone Region, about 55 kilometres south-south-east of Gladstone and 13 kilometres north-north-west of Miriam Vale. The name means old man kangaroo in the local Indigenous language, and the town serves as a highway service stop with a general store and post office agency.
