About Miriam Vale
Miriam Vale is a rural town and locality in the Gladstone Region of Queensland, situated on the Bruce Highway approximately 464 kilometres north of Brisbane and 170 kilometres south of Rockhampton. The town is a traditional cattle growing area that also supports timber and beef production, and serves as a gateway to the tourist destinations of Agnes Water and the Town of 1770. Miriam Vale is home to heritage-listed sites including a massive fig tree near the railway station and the Miriam Vale War Memorial.
