About Beecher
Beecher is a rural locality in the Gladstone Region of Queensland, Australia, located 11.5 kilometres south-west of the Gladstone CBD. Named after Mount Beecher, named in 1853 after author Harriet Beecher Stowe, the Calliope River forms its western boundary and the Dawson Highway and Moura railway line pass through.
