About Ravenshoe

Ravenshoe is a rural town and locality in the Tablelands Region of Queensland, Australia, located 123 kilometres south-west of Cairns on the Atherton Tableland. At 930 metres elevation, it is the highest town in Queensland. On the traditional land of the Jirrbal people, the town developed as a timber centre and is now known for tourism, beef, and dairy. It features Millstream Falls, the widest single-drop waterfall in Australia, a heritage steam railway, and is self-proclaimed the 'Beard Capital of Australia'.
