About Middlebrook
Middlebrook is a rural locality on the Atherton Tableland in the Tablelands Region of far north Queensland, roughly 25 kilometres south-east of Atherton at elevations between 520 and 1,020 metres. The Beatrice River and Middle Brook flow through the area, which is bounded by mountainous undeveloped country and low-lying grazing land. The locality is near the scenic Souita and Papina Falls, within reach of Cairns and the tropical north.
