About Mourilyan Harbour

Mourilyan Harbour is a coastal locality and port at the mouth of the Moresby River, about 13 kilometres south-east of Innisfail. Charted by Captain John Moresby in 1872, the harbour is a major export point for raw sugar and molasses from the Innisfail, Tully and Atherton Tableland districts. Mangrove-lined creeks throughout the area provide popular recreational fishing.
