About Moomin
Moomin is a rural locality on the Atherton Tablelands, about 1.3 kilometres north-east of the historic mining town of Herberton. Named after the Herberton railway station, believed to derive from an Aboriginal word for wasp nest, the area supports dairy and cattle farming in the cool highland landscape.
