About Herberton
Herberton is a historic rural town and locality on the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland, Australia, located 80 kilometres south-west of Cairns at an elevation of 918 metres. Founded in 1880 following a tin mining rush, it is the oldest town on the Tablelands. It features the Herberton Historic Village with over 50 heritage buildings.
