About Mighell

Mighell is a small rural locality about two kilometres south of Innisfail in the Cassowary Coast Region. The South Johnstone River forms the eastern boundary and Bamboo Creek the western, while the Bruce Highway passes through crossing the river on Centenary Bridge. Predominantly sugarcane country, the area has a network of cane tramways transporting harvested cane to the South Johnstone sugar mill.
