About Kennedy
Kennedy is a coastal locality in the Cassowary Coast Region, about 10 kilometres north-west of Cardwell on the Bruce Highway. The Coral Sea forms its eastern boundary, and parts of the locality fall within Girramay National Park and Cardwell State Forest. The landscape rises from sea level to 710 metres in the foothills of Mount Carruchan, with sugarcane farming and grazing on cleared land.
