About Damper Creek

Damper Creek is a coastal locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Queensland, located about 45 kilometres north of Ingham and 190 kilometres south of Cairns, bounded to the east by the Hinchinbrook Channel separating the mainland from Hinchinbrook Island. Most of the locality lies within Girringun National Park and Cardwell State Forest within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, with the Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line passing through.
