About Butchers Creek
Butchers Creek is a rural locality on the eastern escarpment of the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland, approximately 16 kilometres north-west of Malanda. The area receives high rainfall and sits at the interface between the dense rainforests of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and the fertile farming land of the Tablelands, with traditional land use for dairying and beef production.
