About Belvedere
Belvedere is a rural locality in the Cassowary Coast Region of Far North Queensland, located 5.7 kilometres west of Innisfail. The low-lying area east of the Johnstone River supports a mix of sugarcane farming and suburban housing, with the Palmerston Highway forming its western boundary and joining the Bruce Highway at the northern tip of the locality. Named after a 1980s land development chosen for its good views, Belvedere sits within the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area hinterland.
