About Salisbury (Qld)
Salisbury is an established residential and light industrial suburb about 13 km south of Brisbane's CBD, bounded by Toohey Mountain and Toohey Forest Park to the northeast offering bushland walking trails. A diverse, multicultural community with a growing café and brewery scene along Ainsworth Street, key landmarks include Salisbury railway station on the Beenleigh line, nearby Griffith University and the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre. The suburb has a population of around 6,800.
