About Nundah
Nundah, previously called German Station, is an inner suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, on Kedron Brook north of the city centre. The suburb began as Zion Hill, a Lutheran mission established in 1838, and later became known as German Station. The name Nundah derives from the Turrbal word nanda, meaning chain of waterholes. The suburb includes the neighbourhood of Toombul, centred around Sandgate Road.
