About Kedron
Kedron is a suburb in northern Brisbane, Queensland, extending along Kedron Brook. Its name comes from the biblical Kidron Valley, chosen by the early missionaries at the nearby Nundah mission. It developed as a farming district from the 1860s and is now a residential suburb, home to the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services headquarters.
