About Kangaroo Point (Qld)
Kangaroo Point is an inner suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, on a peninsula on the southern bank of the Brisbane River directly opposite the central business district. It is best known for the Story Bridge, whose southern approach crosses the suburb, and the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, a popular climbing spot. The Captain Cook Bridge at its western end carries the Pacific Motorway, and a green bridge now links the suburb to the city centre.
